Dr. Kanika

Kanika M. Sims, MD, MPH is a Physician, Public health expert and advocate for those in marginalized communities. She is an Assistant Professor of Hospital Medicine and also an author and speaker.  The undeniable link between stress and the increase in mental health and chronic diseases compelled her to move beyond the exam room to advocate for more inclusive, equitable spaces in healthcare organizations, the workplace and schools. She works tirelessly to champion the rights of the underserved and ensure more equitable spaces for all.
